I got my passport stamped this week.

My company has requested a copy of my passport stamp (I-551)
Does anyone know what the significance of the stamp is, and why the
company may need it?

In which INS center did you get it stamped ?
Did your approval notice require to appear for stamping on
a particular day (or day of the week).

There\'s no reason why a company should need a PP stamp copy. You may want to ask around (independent lawyers) to see why they would need it and if there\'s any potential for any harm...
