I485 applicants should be excluded from special registration.

I don’t understand why I485 applicants of the respective country should also go for Special Registration. Finger printing, background check, interview, etc. is part of Adjustment of Status process. Why INS is wasting time and resources repeating the same process twice.

They say it is to secure our borders. How registering people who are already in the US secures the borders is a question that I cannot answer.

This is for "national security" and right now that is all that needs to be said for it to be done. National security is the focus of Washington right now.

Though some of us put to a little inconvenience, it is being done in the interest of the nation. All those who love this country, are loyal to it and neither sympathise nor perpetrate crime need nothing to worry. In fact it is in the best interest of good citizens to support this move by the AG.
