I've tried my best trying to find this answer on here and elsewhere and am now resorting to posting.
I'm a little confused by all of this, but here it goes.
To cut to the chase, my I485 has been filed and I received the Biometric date and along with a notice "request for Initial Evidence (I485)". This is not a problem, the pieces of evidence they are requiring and no big deal to get, should have it all together and sent within two weeks or less.
The problem I have is with the Advanced Parole. It was sent at the same time (March 29) and received April 6th by USCIC.
Now I'm waiting. I have a mother and grandmother in the hospital in my home country and simply want to get back asap for a few days, that's all.
Can someone please let me know what I might be looking out for and what I might be able to do to expidite this process. Does this request for additional information put my AP application on hold? I'm assuming my status for my I485 is 'pending'?
