I485 and PD

Hi All,
I have filed I485 In July 2005 and PD is June 2005 in EB2. If my PD becomes current say in October 2006, Am I going to get GC once my PD becomes current or I have to still wait until visa numbers for India become available. Could somebody explain how it works. Will appreciate your input

Once your PD becomes current, say Oct 2006, it means that there is Visa # available for you. If your name check and other records results are also fine and are complete, then it will be just a matter of time. Usually, it may take anywhere from 1 month to few months to get your 485 approval or they may ask you for inteview, this step solely depend on your application and USCIS people.
