i485 and biometrics

Hi everyone. I am an asylee and applied for adjustment of status end of 2018. I didn't t get a biometric appointment notice but got a letter basically stating that my biometrics that I took for my travel document will be used for my I 485. When I check my case online it states that case was updated to show fingerprint was taken ...in January 2019. its been like that for the past year and even now its the same. Today I got a mail for a biometric appointment. Im confused, is that normal? I have a feeling this is going to further set back my case. Did anyone experience anything like this? thanks

This could be their routine mail. Better call them & find out :)
