I485, 180+ Days but potential for lay off

Expect likely job loss in 3 wks. 485 + AP +EAD & > 180 days. Please advise on the following.
Should the new job be in same region and same description?
Does job description on the offer letter good enough?
Within how many days should get the new job rolling?
