Hi, i filed for i140 in Nov 07 TSC. LC filed date 12/04 under EB3.
can i file i140 and i1485 concurrently?
just wanted to see if anyone of you are in the same situation.
any insight will be highly appreciated.

What I was told , you only can file them concurrently if the VB for that month is current and there are visas available. Other than that you have to be approved in the I-140 which should take around 6-8 months

I would like to add that a visa number is required in order to approve an I-485 case and has nothing to do with I-485 filing. Therefore, one can file for I-485 only when the applicant's priority date is current and labor certification is approved. I-140 may be pending / approved / filed concurrently.
