I have an approved LC but have never worked for the sponsorer yet. Sponsorer`s finances were not good for 2002 and 2003 but now buisness has picked up.
Since I have never worked for the sponsorer, obviously do not have any W-2 or paystubs. In my case, what period does the USCIS look at to determine the ability to pay. Is it the current financial situation, or the past beginning from when the LC was filled.

My date of filling LC is Oct 2001. Approval Sept 2004. I have not yet worked for the sponsorer. I will join the sponsorer after approval of GC. I am a physician and sponsorer is a solo physician.
The problem with medical practices is that additional revenue is not generated untill the new physician acctually joins the practice. To make matters worse the solo medical practise had a lot of problems with billing and collections.
I will be very grateful for any help you can give me.Thank you.
