Gurus,
This is what I found on web, regarding the case status of my I140:
On March 14, 2002, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 158 and 60 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

But I have a copy of I140 approval notice from my attorney. They filed for my I485 based on this.
I'm little confused on how to check the current status of my I140, whether it is still exist or not. I appreciate your help.
Thanks,

If you received your I-140 approval after March 14,2002 then you need not worry. I think system is not updated for latest status.

Try to check the status by calling NCSC, Listen to the automated status message, if automated message is also wrong then talk to customer service representative.

Thanks.

my 140 was approved on March 8th (RD/ND December 31, 2002), and till yesterday online status kept saying that it is taking around 120 days or so, and TODAY (July 17) it was changed to that it is approved on march 8th and we mailed you the approval notice notice. (Almost 3 months after)

I used to think till now that case status was updated whenever something moved on your case, but now it looks like it is totally random and unorganised!
