I got an RFE asking me to verify I received my MS Graduate Degree by 07/2003 i.e. before I filed my labor/GC.
Before filing my GC I had completed all my course work and passed my defense (july 2001) but had not submitted the thesis to get the official diploma. In Fall, 2003 I completed all other formalities like submitting the thesis, getting it approved by my committe and grad school for formatting, registered for commencement ceremony, paid diploma fees etc and got my degree in December, 03.
Any idea how the INS would react when I send them the copy of my grad degree with Dec, 03 date on it. Anything I can do to improve my case?
