i140 RFE -EB2 on Experience letters

Recently I got a rfe on 140 .

Evidence relating to qualifying experience or training shall be in the form of letters from prv employers and current employers with description of duties and period. If such evidence is not available other documents relating to the alien experience will be considered.

My problem is my previous company in India and USA they closed the operations. How can I get a letters and co-workers are fine??


Experts give advice???
 
Letters from co-workers are fine. While I am not approved as yet, a friend of mine who I wrote an affidavit for, detailing job duties had his 485 approved 2 months ago...

Were you the Manager or Supervisor for the friend to whom you wrote the affidavit?

If the previous company one has worked for is not there anymore, can an affidavit from a co-worker (same position as yours during the time) and not a supervisor or Manager work?

Though a letter from a Manager or supervisor would be ideal, a letter (on his current employer's letterhead) from a colleague should suffice.

Key is to have the job employement period and duties/responsibilities included in the letter.

I wasn't his supervisor - we were peers. That should work just fine (I certainly hope so - he has done the same for me :D )

Thanks for the prompt responses. I have also requested for more info ( if known) about experience and EB2 Category. Do u guys know anything about it?
