I140 Query - Travell document

Hello Friends ,

I have some questions regarding I140/EAD/Travel Document

1.My I140 is still pending , with out applying SSN can my wife & kid can travel to india and come back by using the Travel Document/485copy?

2. And at any point of time if my spouse/kid wants to come from EAD to H4 can they come back.

3. How many years i wil get extension , if my I140 my in pending.
