I checked my I140 status online and it says:
"Current Status:
Approval notice sent.
On March 22, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I140 IMMIGRANT
PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move
before you receive the notice, call customer service."
I also called their number and for my receipt number, the info. was same as the above and that they have mailed the I797 form on March 22.
How long does it take before we get the approval in hand? Also, my school who filed for me hasn't received email notification about my approval.
Any thoughts or insights? Thanks.
