Hi Guys,

I received an RFE on 05/04. Asked almost all documents. My lawyer forgot to inlcude tax docs and edu evaluation.

Gathering all documents now.
I got educational evaluation from Trustforte which says I have

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering
Master of Science Degree in Eletrical Engineering.

On my substituted labor, column 14 says

Education : 8 4 4
College: MS; or B S with 2 years experience
Major Field of Study: Computer Science or Engg or Equivalent

Initially filed in EB2 (?) and we were asked to convert to EB3. We are converting to EB3.

My question is, Do you see any problem with the Major Field of Study ?

It's better to keep it consistent. You can never guess the person who processes your case, so if you can, keep it consistent, if you cannot, pray for the best luck.

You are fine as your col.14 in substitute labor covers Engg or equivalent.

BTW, why were you advised to convert from EB2 to EB3?

Thanks for the info. With substitue labor, you had little choice, then to convert to EB3 so as to match the requirement.

Just to mention, despite my eligibility for EB2, the attorney bungled in my own labor by mentioning lesser requirement of education + experience. It is just a part of that stressful experience.
