I140/i485 Rn

Greetings! Its my first time to post here. I hope someone can help me regarding my I 140/I485. I am applying for I140/I485 as a nurse here in Cali. I had sent my documents to my lawyer and they they had sent it already to nebraska processing center. after 10 days i received a i797 notice of action that the USCIS had received my application for I140,I485,I765,I131. notice date is last aug 9,2006.
My question is how will i know if my paper was filed in nebraska or texas? My lawyers told me that they filled it in nebraska but when i read the notice of action it says there that if i have any queries i can call the TSC which was located at the lower left part of the notice of action. and If my receipt number started with SRC meant anything? does this mean that it was transfred to texas? Thank you very much
 
tnxs arydk. my lawyer told me that they send my application to nebraska. is it possible that they send it to nebraska then naebraska transfered it to texas? should i receive a notice from either center that they did transfer my documents. i am filling my I-140 and I-1485, will TSC process it? thank you very much
 
May be you did not follow the recent changes. The forms are to be sent to NSC (nebraska) but it (NSC) can decide to handle your case itself or send it to TSC (Texas), as in your case.

BTW you are in good hands. TSC is very efficient.

thank you arydk. i asked my lawyer before they sent the papers to where processing center will they send it to. they told me that nebraska and in fact in there web site when i look at my account with htem it says that it was forwarded to nebraska. that is why i was a bit surpirsed when i got my notice of action that my paper was received in TSC. thank you arydk. atleast now i know. i just hope that everything we'll go smoothly. my notice date was last aug.9'06.

hi glen, im also an RN like you.....my case was also sent to Nebraska.....but i just got my notice of action which states that my case was transferred to Texas (SRC). my receipt date is Aug 4,2006.....
 
That was quick

My wife is also an RN from California.

The lawyers sent her I140 application to Nebraska Service center on the 25th of July, (Receipt date 26th of July). But the lawyers forwarded a approval notice from Texas Service center (Approval Date 17th of August.)

She recieved an appointment to get her fingerprints done on the 12th of August(got it done earlier on the 8th of August.)

Hopefully the I485 approval is just as quick.

moonshiner....that approval was quick indeed....did she already received her EAD as well?
 
No she hasnt recieved her EAD yet.(though she has another valid EAD). The EAD/AP file was forwarded to the San Jose local office.

She has applied to for an infopass appointment for ThursdayAug/31st to check if she can get the AP earlier. We plan to vacation in Europe next month.

I140 approved

I just found out that my I-140 was approved yesterday August 28.....my case was received by Texas service center with Received date of Aug 4 and Notice date on August 9.....

i received an email notice that my i765 was approved and that they mailed it already. does this mean that i can now apply for my SS number and probably start working as an RN? or should iwait for my i-140 to be approved? i havent received any finger printing schedule as of today. my notice of action for i-140,1-485,i-131,i765 was last august 9. good thing that my i-765 was approved. my i-140 LUD was today 8/30.

glen, all you need to do is apply for a social security once you receive your EAD card.....you can work with your EAD

hi glen....nice to hear you received your ead card today....

my wife and my EAD was just approved today.....i did not knew they approve during saturdays....praise God :)
