I140 EB3 Pending since May 2002

What is your ND for I-485 ?. That will tell you when you are going to get your I-140 approval. You guys did big mistake not to apply I-485 as soon as law came in. VSC is playing with all of us with their way of doing I-140s !!

Since as per BCIS, it is taking at most 360 days to get I-140 approved. And in your case it has been more than 1 year, you can tell your attorney to call BCIS 800 number and have the officer make a note on your case since it has taken exceptionally longer than normal. This will definitely speed up your I-140 process.

The I-485 ND theory does not seem to hold in my case. . I guess I'm the unfortunate one

have your attorney call bcis 800 number. Sometime the BCIS operator note the account and then supervisor takes a look at the case noted. this may help! If you want you can try calling and talking to the BCIS rep.
 
wait wait & wait

I have done that several times. I only got response to one inquiry out of 5-6 inquires that I had made earlier. I received a call from BCIS late Aug 2003 for inquiry made in June 2003 and she asked me to wait and she said currently it is taking 15 months. But I said in my case it has been past 17months. She then said that I need to wait.
