I140 EB2 Vs EB3...What's happening to EB2s???

According to the latest update EB3 I140 processing is in May and is flying while Eb2 has been sitting on Nov 20 for like 3 months now.
Does anyone know what's going on??. Why is Eb2 getting step-motherly
treatment?...any clues??

Has anyone got an approved I140 (Eb2) filed after Nov20, 2003?

Mine is Apr 2, 2004 so it's pretty much out of the question for now, but I like
to know if there is any order in their chaos at VSC...

Same question is bothering everybody from EB2, there is suddenly stopped processing EB2’s. Nobody know why?
Did anybody From Sep-Nov 03, see any movements in your application, any changes in LUD’s ?

Did you guys think of changing to EB3 category.
My labor recently got approved.Is it possible to file I-140 in EB3 category if the labor has requirements of EB2.Like my labor mentions MS +2 yrs or BS+5 yrs.Can I still file the I-140 in EB3.

I'll appreciate it if you can let me know.

Hello,

Mine is also EB2. 140/485 dates are 3/5/2004. For more details, you may check profile in 2004 tracker.

No activities and don't know how long it will take for 140 approval.

What are our options except keeping patience and praying ?

Looks like "Advanced degree or exceptional ability" is more a bad thing than a good one...
Also it does look like people have been sending emails/letters to VSC regarding this issue. I sent one too....
But you know how this is..like the job email you send to an employer...It will
happen when it happens...
Nevertheless please send an email...who knows it mite work.

I have heard they have reorganized their schedule and team to work for
the Nov elections and only a few of them are still working on I140s. Maybe
Eb3s have more of a backlog (guess they are more in no.) and they have decide to work on them till Mr. President is elected.
Lets wait till Nov (what else have we been doing :( )..and after that if VSC
decides not to allocate a team to organize their Xmas party..maybe we have a chance..till then we should put up with this crap!!

But send an email/letter amyway.....
