applied 3/1/2001, asked for more material in sep/2001, rejected in
Feb/2002, appealed on March/2002, transfered to Administrative Appeals Office for review on 5/17th/2002.

No progress was ever made... anyone can give some adivce?

Can I do through outstanding researcher now, will the deny make a negative impact? If I wait, now long can this take?

Thanks, I am so pissed with the whole process...

Why was it denied?

Did you use an attorney?

Appeals can take several years, depending on where you live.

reason for deny

they say I am not good enough... though I have several top publication and 12 recommendation letters from top institutes from various institute ...

Just don't know what they are looking for

I think you should be eligible but in your petition package, you need to write something legally defensible. It is pretty much like writing a legal document. If you leave holes, it is much easier to be questioned by your opponent. Hope this helps.

it doesnot hurt ...

I think it doesnot hurt your EB1 application because their requirement are different. I heard a guy's Eb2 was denied two years ago but one year later his Eb1 was approved. He has only three paper and 10 letters, no prize. A only thing you need do is that you need explain to INS why your EB2 was denied and why you are eligible for eb1 while you file your new application. Good luck.
