I140 delays in Vermont

Any idea why I140 processing has become SLOW in Vermont? In the past 3 months they have moved only 10 days. With this rate, it will take forever to get I140 approvals.

Why dont we start a petition for BCIS to improve its processing speeds? I140 is more important than 485 for most of us. It gives us the freedom to change companies.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I agree. Be it CP cases or AOS cases, 140 is more improtant. Somehow the EB3 processing was moving very fast during first half of the year and then pushed back the date. I am all for a 140 petition. I dont have any other bright ideas.

Let us request Rajiv Khanna to start a petition with BCIS to investigate these extremely slow I-140 processing times at Vermont service center.

Not to discourage any of you, but 140 is only the pit stop in the entire chain of approvals. Not to say that 140 applicants should have to wait, but you need to do something about BOTH 140 as well as 485 back logs, or you will spend over a decade in the system waiting for GC! 140 applicants are the one's who will benefit the most from speedy approvals.

If you haven't done so already, please consider joining us in our fight for speedier approvals. All you need to do is send out a couple of faxes, to your congressman to join our voices in calling for faster processing of 485's. This campaign is already producing results, that are tangible and recorded in some of the other threads on this forum. Please help in helping yourself out of this misery. Support the FAX CAMPAIGN.
