Hi,

I would like to thank everyone for sharing your information and help each other. My I140 is approved on Feb 23rd 2005. :)

I140/I485 Concurrently filed Dec. 2004
Priority Date April 2002
Center - Texas
Category EB3
I485 - Waiting

Priority Date for I140/485

MY priority date for labor is may 2001 (EB3) from dallas,TX and its a case of labor substitution. I got receipt date of 10th Jan for I140/485. Does my priority date will be 10Jan 05 or may 2001. Any comment will be highly appreciated

My 140 has been approved !!!!

After going through almost 3+ years of hell to get my Labor approved, my GC application process is moving smoothly. I do not know much aboout ND/RD/ED i am giving below my details,

I485/I140/EAD/AP received by Texas Service Center on Dec 7th 2004

> EAD approved on Jan 2nd 2005, received my card on Jan 12th 2005.
> AP approved on Jan 5th 2005 , documents sent to lawyer and they sent it
back to me on Jan 18th 2005.
> I140 approved on Feb 23 2005 , lawyer received notice on Mar 1st 2005 (though it said on the website it takes almost 1 year to approve such cases)

> I485 is pending , it says on the wesite it takes about 2+ years to process such cases but hopefully by God's grace i get approved in a few months time.

I-485 pending

I just found out about this site and I am so glad that I did. I can read about others' experiences and perhaps learn a little bit more. My I-140 was approved December 2004! I mailed I-485 with all the appropriate documents January 19, 2005. I recieved a receipt saying that it takes 700+days. What do you think? Texas is the center. Have you heard of other cases where they recieved their Green Cards fast?

How long it took for you to get I485 approval ?? I am also in the same stage.I send 140/485 on 10Jan 05,
I140 approved on March 7
I485 still waiting --
I will appreciate your help . .
