Just few minutes ago, I received an email from USCIS stating that my application has been approved. What a priceless Christmas present I got!

was your case EB3 or EB2? Wht is your priority date.

My case is EB3. Have not check my priority date yet. Actually, just planning on doing that this morning. My labor was submitted to state sometime in Aug. or Sep. 2002 then to regional on Jan. 2003.

Trend..

Looks like TSC is concentrating on those EB3 cases which will be subject to retrogression. This is a good stretegy actually.
 
My 140 Approval

I just received an email saying my I140 has been approved on Dec 13th (today).

Here are the details

I140 filed - Feb 23rd 2004
I485 filed - Apr 15th 2004
FP Taken on Oct 30th 2004.
Category - EB3.

Can any one tell how long usually it takes to approve I485 after I140 approval

Did u see 140 status updated after sending the RFE

Hi Hopeful_ever, what was ur RFE about and if the LUD has changed after receiving the RFE response. Any ideas how much time it takes for the action after RFE response is received.

Congrats on I-140 approvals.

I understood from this forum that the I-485 is getting approved in most of the concurrent filling cases with-in a gap of one to two weeks after I-140 is approved. But some cases took longest approval time of three months also.

Hope yours gets approved asap.

Radsam, RFE response was mailed on 12/10, friday. Hope it reached them today. From what I saw previously in this forum, I hope to get a RD on this sometime towards the end of this week and may be a decision around Chrismas or slightly later. Isn't that reasonable?

Radsam, my RFE was about ability to pay. It was answered fairly satisfactorily with solid documentation. I hope it works.

Well, My I-140 under EB3 ND 2nd March 2004. And no approval.... :( :(
Dont know what is the criteria for the approval. Well Congratulations to u ..ur the lucky one dude. ;)

Friends,

I posted this message, went home, took my family to Disney's NIMO on ICE ....! Came back and just checked my emails ......!

Yes, My AP is approved today and I am proven wrong ....! But I am happy as I haven't gone to home country since last 5 years and now I can go and come back without worry of H1B stamping.....! :)

RFE on 485

Got an email this morning stating that an RFE has been sent on 12/17 about my case. Hopefully this is just a simple one so I can also be free by the beginning of next year.
