My I140 was approved a couple of days back. I have already received the EAD cards etc. The only thing that is pending is I485.
- What are all the things that will happen before I485 approval (like FP, Name check etc)?
- BTW, what is NAME CHECK?
- Also, I work for company A and the I140 approval has come from company B. If I want to do AC21 portability ... how easy would it be? My I140/I485 was filed concurrently and the dates are sometime in September 2004.
- On what grounds can USCIS reject the I485?
- Does I485 have to do anything with the compnay now? For eg. what happens if the company becomes bankrupt?
- Considering that the I485 processing date jumped by 6 months last time, what is the expected time frame from I485 approval (for sept 2004)?
