I140 Approved - Long pending

My I140 got approved after an agonizing wait of 2 years 6 months!! :)

Have CP as the default.

EB2 / VSC
I140 RD 06/14/02 (Substitution Labor)
RFE RD 03/15/03 (RFE was about a copy of the LC)
I140 AD 12/08/04

Thanks for your support folks - its comforting to know and feel that there's fellow inmates in the 'GC Prison'.

Hi Agumara ,

Congratulations. I have couple of questions about your RFE.

1)Was the rfe is addressed to your attorney/Employer or to the DOL(for the copy of labor certificate)?
2)When did you guys responded to the RFE?

Could you please post the answers.

RFE was addressed to the Attorney to provide additional supports to prove that the LC that was being used as Substitution for me has not been used for anyone else.

RFE date was 02/26/03 and RFE response receipt date by VSC was 03/15/03.

The attorneys pretty much dug up all the history on the LC and sent the docs to CIS.

After that VSC slept on my case for 1 year and 9 months :mad:
