I140 approved, I485 pending, not employed

My situation is this: I was sponsored on EB3 and I worked only 2 weeks, then I was sent to a class for 6 months. I140 got approved and I am still unemployed.
Do you know cases when RFE was not required for I485 approval?
When exactly you MUST be working- how soon after you receive I485 approval?

Continue to look for a similar job, if you can't find one it may be approved anyway if they ask for something you'll have time to find a job before submittal. Lots of approvals are happening without RFE, it's the luck of the draw.
