Need your advice on this:
I have an approved I140, and filed my 485 in August 2007. Have got my EAD, FP done, AP etc.
In April 2007, my company merged with another company.
My lawyer filed for an I140 amendment last year after filing the 485.
I have an offer from a very good company, and my job responsibilities and everything will remain the same....
Can u please suggest, if I can go ahead and use AC21 portability?
Do I need to wait for the I140 amendment approval to come before I take advantage of AC21?
Also: I am sure that my company will scrap my GC process, as soon as I leave this job and join someone else.....So is it safe to go ahead and use AC21 with the previous approved I140 or it is a MUST to get the amendment approval as well...
Also: if anyone can suggest how much time does it take for the amendment approval of I140 to come through?
