I140 Approved But Laid Off From Work Before Approval

Good day!

I have a very serious problem to consult. My I140 was approved last September 2007. However, I got laid off from work last July 2007. I received my authorization to work card. I still have no idea whether USCIS will approve my I485. Please help....
 
You need to get another job that is "same or similar" to the one on your labor certification/I-140 before USCIS decides your I-485 case, and that would enable you to continue and complete the I-485 process under the AC21 portability rule.

when did you apply for I-485?
