I140 approval and AP

I vaguely remember having read a thread which mentions that
for concurrent filing I140 needs to be approved for AP to be
approved.

is this true?

Your AP would be approved based on an initial analysis of your I140 application. If it looks reasonable to be approved , then your AP would have no problems
