My i140 was denied in first week of Nov 2006 citing that the labor was signed by a person who is not the owner of the company. My attorney said it was not proper and prepared to file an appeal and he sent in the papers on Dec 14th. My attorney said it will first go to the supervisor of the service center which processed my i140(TSC) and if he feels it is valid will approve the i140, if not it will be forwarded to AAO... Is that a tru statement.. ??
Interestingly I also got a receipt from DHS - Texas center which states the case has been transferred to AAO and it has a new receipt number and the date on it is Nov 18th... how can TSC send it to AAO even before we filed for the appeal.
I am just confused how this process works...any inputs ??
Thanks
