I140 and Visa extension

Could someone please suggest me ideas and options....

I've got PERM approved, H1 is valid till July 17. I've got another 3 months left to get I140 approved so I can file for H1 visa extension.

What are the chances of getting I140 approved from VSC in 3 months. If I go on vacation for 2 months, would I be able to re-capture that time so I'll get more time to breath.

Any ideas and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hdude, First of all you will not file 140 in VSC, YOU will file in NSC where they are processing EB2 Received on 15 Dec 2005, so expect 5 months processing time maximum you may be lucky to get it in 3 months
