I140 and 485 Pending - New Passport

Hi,

I have my 140 and 485 pending and I had to renew my passport as the old one was expiring next month.

The Indian consulate issued me a new passport with a different passport number.

Do I have to re-apply for my 140 and 485, since there are a few places on the application that have the old passport number.

Your old PP will be returned by the consulate to keep it with you. On the NEW PP it is usually mentioned that you held PP #---- which expired. On Approval you will have to carry both together and it should not be a problem
