I140 and 485:concurrent filing question

Hi All,

My LC was approved in this week .I am going to file for I140 and 485 concurrently.Have a question about this..

Should we receive 140 receipt notice before filing for 485 or there isn't any requirement as such ..?

I am waiting for my Birth certificate from India..don't want to delay I140 filing waiting for BC..

Pl clarify Gurus...

If you send both applications together in one packet, then you don't need the receipt.

I am waiting for my Birth certificate from India..don't want to delay I140 filing waiting for BC..
If you want to wait for BC, then file I-140, and when you get BC, file I-485 AFTER getting the I-140 receipt, include copy of I-140 receipt with your I-485 application.

yes fille I140 first and in a week you will recieve ur notice for I140 then file I 485.
no reason to delay I140 filing when you have a chance to do
