I140 & 485 filed to wrong center

Hi Folks,
my labor certification is from Delaware/Philly. My Future employment will be
in delaware. Right now i am working in california for a client my company.

My Stupid attorneys filed for I140 & 485 concurrently to USCIS california
center in October 2003 instead of filing to Vermont. i got the reciepts, got the EAD and also my finger prints are done from INS California center. Now i am seeing some postings on the web where the I140 were rejected and returned in such cases.

Have you guys seen this kinda thing before. And also please let me know
what options are available to me. should i withdraw and file it to vermont again ??

any help and ideas are really appreciated.

Do not panic, they will not Deny a case, just because it has been filed in the wrong center. They may trasnfer your case to corresponding center and you may lose some time , but FYI, I know a case just like yours got approved from NSC for 140, but they trasnfered their 485 to VSC. I guess, you will be alright, Since you got your EAD and FP done.........hope for the best

mentioned. like where was labor done ? where was it supposed to be filed.
whats the delay for I140 approval and so on.

Labor was done from NJ. Sponsoring Company is located in NJ, Client or consultant is located @ Omaha. Attornet wrongly filed 140/EAD/485 in NSC instead of VSC. EAD/140 approved (No RFE...nothing), but 485 has been transfered to VSC. Current Status ......485 waiting.

Cause Kishore_l got 140 done from a fast center(for 140) and for 485 he is in queue of another fast center(compared to others.).

You are Funny!!..........infact its on of my friends case. Mine both 140 & 485 are waiting in the most predicatable, reliable, fastest service ctr which is VSC..............
