Thank You for reading my concern. I applied for the I130 back on November 2017, my husband has an order of deportation pending, our lawyer looked at his record for his denied asylum case and stated that she couldn't remove deportation just yet because his asylum case was weak. He ahs been here in the US for 12 years, we are to wait for the I130 approval before we can proceed, we have received a request for an interview in the Miami filed office, I am very concerned that if he goes to that interview- ICE will be there waiting to detain him( as this has happened in other cases, recently). We want to attend, and show them that our marriage is REAL! but I am afraid and I'm my head is spinning thinking the worst. I am us citizen.
Has anyone had any experience with interviews, while the spouse has an order of deportation?
