My father filed an I-130 petition on my behalf at Vermont Center in February 2000 under category (a)(2)(b) unmarried child over 21. It is still pending even though the usual processing time is up to 999 days.
Is this normal?
From looking at processing time/dates posted on Immigration.com, there is been no progress in processing I-130 under family preference category. If you look at the beginning and the end of 2002, 2/8/1999 cutoff date has not moved. Have they completely halted processing these applications?
Anyone knows what is going on here????
