I have applied I130 along with I485 for my mother. Still awaiting receipts from USCIS. Her tourist visa is expiring on June 1st. If I do not receive the receipts by then, does she loose the legal status?

She will be out of status when her I-94 ends either way. But she can legally stay in the US with a pending I-485, regardless of whether she is in status or not. And this is true regardless of whether the I-485 is filed before or after her I-94 expires.
