Hello Everybody, Can u plz tell me if there will b problem in my case. My mother US Citizen applied for me in under F3(married son n daughter). I am beneficiary. On application she had printed my wife birth year wrong by mistake) instead of 1975 she put 1976.Days n month are same.Her passport, birth cert n all cert shows 1975. .Does this affect my application.It has been approved in yr 1999.Waiting for ur kind reply. Thanks

indiano,I guess you are hello brother too I read this same question on ilw discussion board and was meaning to reply you later in the day.I have the name sunita there which is my name too.Now to get back to your question.I think you should email mumbai consulate and tell them about it and what they would suggest you do.I think it should not be a too big problem as it is a genuine mistake as nothing can be gain from submitting wrong date of birth and she isn't the principal applicant either so you should be just fine to correct it from now on.Have you submitted your ds230 part1 to NVC?If not then do it with her right year of birth and in your packet four whenever you recieved that then put the right year too and always be prepared to state that your mom make a mistake.

Hello, Very nice to c u IN THIS PORTAL. I really don,t no what is ds 290 part 1. Last thing which i had received (mar 2000)was my BMB CASE# showing priority date sept 1999. I thought i need to wait till i will receive my Interview letter from Mumbai. My mother had filed through lawyer from Texas.Do i need to inform them or should i wait for my calling letter.
I think u r very close too. Ur priority date is sept .Great i wish u all the best.
