First of all thank you for all of you guys that's been helping in this forum. My interview is set today 1:40pm (Nov 20th). We went to the office around 1pm and waited for about 1 hour until our name was called.

It was a lady that interview us, first we went in before we sit, she asked to raise our right hand to take oath. Then She asked our IDs (Paspport or Driving License). Then she asked me a few questions such as "Have u ever been arrested, involved in terrorism, etc?" Then I answered everything "No".

After that, she said "You're APPROVED". That's it. Even our lawyer didn't believe it because our interview was the fastest ever (less than 3 minutes). Then I thank the lady for approving our case. And we got out very happy :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Well good luck to everybody here, I hope everything went well like our case.

Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have interview in Columbus OHIO in Jan. If I may ask,how long you have been married and what vise were you holding before?

the onlly problem I have is that I was arrested for DUI and got reckless operation :/ after making deal with prosecutor . I'm getting really scared that it might have effect on the decision.Anybody with this kind of experience?

Also, can someone tell me if in order to receive EAD I have be first approved for GC?

No, your EAD is first. But sometimes the interview can gets first than the EAD if your DO is FLASH! A green card holder doesn't need an EAD.

Good luck,

To answer Nicpon's questions, I got married in April this year. And I had H1b Visa before but I overstayed my visa. This is the only issue I was worry about but things turned out well.

Well, I don't know about your situation but it's probably wise to go with a lawyer, even I used a lawyer and paid her extra $250 for just sitting there for 3minutes but it's a good insurance, that's what my wife called it :)

I think lawyer might be a good idea. How did you pick your lawyer? Was it someone you knew or somebody recomended him/her to you ?

I was gonna use Margaret Wong, she the best lawyer here in Midwest. You probably heard of her www.imwong.com. But she's really expensive too. People always say that you want to use her when you have a really difficult case.

I used Catherine Kang http://www.kanglawoffice.com because my case is not that hard and her fee is reasonable. My opinion is use a foreign born lawyer because they usually know more loopholes than regular lawyer.

Good luck
