Not for tourism. Americans can visit 90% of the world without a visa.

I needed a new visa because I am working here long term.

I know the feeling, even though I have nt personally experienced it. When I travel with my family, my wife and I , also get royal treatment-we have REP's-(re-entry permits), but our children are US citizens, so we all get treated the same
