I thought I was 2 months behind!

I was checking my case status online at the USCIS website and suddenly my case has disappeared and the date last updated is shown as 10/25/06.

While my wife's status has not changed though she had her finger prints 2 months before mine.

What does this mean? I think the online case status has always reflected the correct dates and I have seen the dates getting updated once the initial NOA was sent and then again when FP notices were sent.

Does the new update mean my case has been sent to the DO?

Any thoughts?
 
From what I read that past few month here in this Forum it means that you are about to get your IL when the Online Status dissapears !
I hope that is the case, crossing my fingers for you !

I can't believe this! 2 weeks after FP my IL is on the way? Yahooooooooooooooo!

Hope I don't get into that vicious cyle of interview scheduled/de-scheduled that many of the fellow board members are going through.

Not trying to be pessimistic here but I know how things can go wrong for me. Hope things will go right atleast once and I am long overdue for that!

Most likely it means that your case has been transferred to the local DO though it not 100% guaranteed. However, for a large majority of the cases it does mean that the case has been transferred to local DO and you can expect an interview letter within the next couple of days.
