I spit on INS Grave

If I pass by the grave of INS then I will spit on it.

I may sound as a person with attitude. Trust me it is coming from the bottom of my heart. It is because of the way they carry out their functions despite of charging high fee.

They do not have any concern for any one.

• They implement ridiculous programs like PILOT, early processing of labor substituted application, etc, without any regards to those who are waiting for many years.
• When you call them they are arrogant on the phone.
• When you go to their office (INFOPASS), they treat you like you are a piece of shit. When you change your address you will find that they have only updated your and not your family.
• When you go to the finger printing they look at you like untouchables. This list can go on.

We are here painfully waiting, praying, hoping for a miracle, paying taxes ever year, suffering the wrath of the consulting companies, feeding the attorneys and unable to take any major decisions because of the ineffectiveness of INS.

I am trough this now. I got my 485 approval email. I thank GOD. Secondly, I thank all those in this forum and I sincerely hope that you all (particularly those who are waiting for long time) get your 485 approvals soon.

Chill out :D

One question though .... "Why did you have to suffer "the wrath of the consulting companies" ??

You were aware of AC-21 portability provisions, weren't you ? Given that your 485 was filed in 8/2003, you could've enjoyed more than 4 years of good time with an employer that respects you, had you chosen that path.

Go on - enjoy life.

I second to you. I'm feeling the same pains as you. They are not showing any fairness and respect to applicants.

For me, because we don't have GC (although we have been waiting for many years), my wife has to keep changing plans for her education and career. Without GC, you have to pay out-state tuitions, you can't take certain jobs, and you found you can't even make plans. These are all because of the inefficiency and unfairness of USCIS.

I am always amazed at people suggesting everyone who is frustrated and disgusted with INS to go home.

The reason I share bim's frustration is It's supposed to be 'BETTER' here.
Though, I never experienced any bad treatment at Infopass, FP etc.

It doesn't have to be like this.

All we are asking is to implement a system and process the GCs in an order(no matter how crazy the order may be) so that people can plan their lives(like buying home, eduction etc) better.

All we are asking is for good customer service for the fees we pay.

Nobody mind waiting for their turn no matter how long the wait is, as long as the system is fair.

enough of my rant.

duncanidaho,

I know I am stuck in Namwe Check by contacting the two senators in my state. They actually contacted FBI and forwarded me the FBI replies. From them, I know by Nov. 2006 it is still pending. This was the last time I asked senators to check NC for me.

I also tried USCIS inquiries, InfoPass, attorney inquiries. Neither one gave me the clear reply that I am stuck in NC. I also tried to call NSC many times using the sequence suggested in this forum, but I never could get a status update on my case.

A month ago, I sent a letter to the First Lady with regard to my NC delay. I am still waiting for a reply.

it is right - USCIS is not worth a spit. There is no fairness there at all.
