I'm in the same situation. We're the unlucky ones who have to go through the RFE process.
I guess it could anything, specially if you're from a sensitive Country.

Let us know what they're asking for when you receive the letter. Most likely it is a waiver. Look at the other RFE postings for details.

?????

It's none of my biz, but why did you have a RTD if you didn't travel abroad.
Pardon my criticism, but this is silly(mildly put).

Mentos,
Have you received your RFE letter yet ??
If so, what are they asking for ?

A friend of mine received RFE from NSC several months after she took BIO. NSC asked for her two pictures in last RFE for her green card even though she had pictures taken during BIO (index fingerprint and photo-taking). She mailed out 2 picutres and received her GC 1 month later.

Here is my RFE attachment

I got this attachment with One page of I-602 Refugee Waiver form.
Ithink they are asking for Refugee I-602 Waiver cuz EWI. Any one have Idea about that?

-------------------
Attachment
You have been found to be Inadmissible, or Ineligible for Adjustment of status, under Section 212 (a ) (6 ) (C ) (I ).

Mentos, most asylees have gotten that. Start to gather your tax forms, family affadavits, among other things.

Hi Folks,

I've received my I-602 today as part of the RFE.

Why do you need tax forms and family affidavits for a "Misrepresentation" waiver ?

It's just a simple form and one needs to just explain why they used a false passport in Part-2 of the first page, which I'm sure most of us did during the asylum application. So nothing new here, it just reinforces why you've applied for asylum in the first place.

I think nothing from Immigration should be taken lightly. Its a "simple" form but the decision-maker on the other end is not thinking like that. The reason he/she sent u this form is because he wants you to support your claim for misrepresenting the U.S Govt...The best would be to get your evidence..better than nothing.
