Congratulations. When i see cases like yours it brings tears to my eyes. USCIS does not see these things when they view us as numbers. My husband never met his daughter until she was almost two as well. I am still waiting for my case to be adjudicated but i will be suing in December.
Why does family not get to see each other?
I don't mean to be nosy. Just curious on why that was so. Is it because one spouse is already a citizen and the other one is waiting to become one? (Being in a different country).
Can't the one who's already a citizen travel to the other spouse in the meantime?
(I mean 2 years is a LLOOONG time!)
I think the USCIS should introduce another category of visa that allows family members to be together until a pending case is adjudicated.

well I can answer in my case...
My husband is in his home country where we met and married. I traveled back and forth for a couple of years. We then became pregnant, I came here to birth and I applied for citizenship. My n400 application took 2 years to process and then was denied because I stayed out of the country more than 6 months. Because I was always waiting for my oath ceremony I never went to visit, wishing to go as a citizen...
Finally, the application was denied and I filed again. I am leaving now after my prints are done, just in case I end up in the same situation. I am still not in the clear with the time out of the country, they could deny me again, but I hope not...
