EAD Renew ---Status question??????????

I have a EAD thru my Husband and My H1 extention for 6 th is denied telling that I dont have a pending labor on my case.Now my situation is I want to use my EAD , I have applied for the renewal last week , My ead Expires on Oct 12th ,

1. If i change to new job and then my EAD does not get rendwed till Oct 12th , What is my status Is it still valid as I have applied for EAD renewal , or is not.

2.I know for a fact that I should not be in pay roll once my EAD expires , that is fine with the new company , But my concern is even though Im not in Pay roll is my status valid once my EAD expires and New one is not renewed yet???????

Your status comes form the pending I-485 and not from EAD. You need EAD to be able to work legaly. So in answer to your question, if your EAD does not come until 12th Oct, you will still be in status (due to the pending I-485), but you will not be legally authorized to work, until the renewal comes through.
 
Irrespective of whether your EAD is approved or not your status is now AOS pending .... because your 485 is filed ... so dont worry about your status ...

yes regarding work ... dont work after your exisiting EAD expires and again start working once u get your new EAD ...

once again regarding status yours should be AOS pending ....EAD is just for work ....say for e.g u dont work to work ... then u dont even need to get EAD also ...u r in legal status .....

If you are on an H-1B and you let it expire... or can't get an extension ...really ...so what. I never renewed my H-1B. You are now just considered in adjustment of status. Thats how I remained for 2 years until my case was approved. I worked on my EAD and thats it.
Some people use the H-1B as a back-up if the GC should be denied. Then you have a way to stay and work in the US.
I personally never wasted the money on another H-1B. If I was rejected on my GC we were prepared to leave.
Just make sure you wait until you have the renewed EAD in hand to continue working past the expiry of the old. It makes things much easier for you that way.
Your status does not change because an EAD expires.

I have 1.5 years left to complete for H1B 6 year cycle. Is it good if I start working on EAD ? (thinking to keep remaining years on H1B for backup in case worst scenario of 485)....

But I don't understand why people are saying to work on H1b as much as possible...

There is an advantage to work on EAD than H1B especially in this Retro scenario...

am I right ?

I don't know either. I don't think it matters particularily. If you want to work on the EAD you can.
There is an advantage to work on EAD than H1B especially in this Retro scenario...

On an EAD you can work at any job you wish. The H-1B is tied to only one particular employer. If you wanted to work 2 jobs, let's say, on a H-1B you would need a visa for both jobs. With an EAD you can work multiple jobs if you wanted.
