I am new hear and i was reading posts that are related to my situation but still didn't give me enough knowledge and understanding. Befere I ask questions i want you to know my situation.
My boyfriend and I are here in the Philippines (I'm a filipino citizen working in a church organization and he's an indonesian taking up masteral degree). His parents are working in the US and already a greencard holder, anytime next year my boyfriend will be going to the US coz he was petitioned by his parents. He plan to come back tot he Philippines (after stamping his passport) to graduate and to get married.
THese are now my questions:
1. Is it really impossible for me to go to the US while he's processing my papers? What if I was able to granted a multiple US visa (before our marriage) can i still use it even if i'm married already and while my papers are in the process?
2. Is it true that he can't go out of the US while he's processing his LPR for 2.5 year?
I hope you can help clarify these things.
