I need your advise---should I file a I-485?

I filed an I-140 at June 2003 in EB-1-2 Outstanding researcher.
Last month, I filed concurrent I-140/I-485 in EB-1-1 Extraordinary
Ability. My question is: Can I file a I-485 for my previous
I-140 petition of June 2003? In this way I will have two
I-485, is it allowed?

This sounds stupid. But the reason is following: After I filed
my first I-140 that is employment-based, I thought I will
move before it is approved. And then I filed a new
concurrent I-140/I-485 that is employment independent.
Now I think maybe I will not move. So if I back to my old
I-140, I can save one year of time. Also, if I do not file
the I-485, should I withdraw my old I-140 application?

I really appreciate your advise. Thank you very much.

no 2 485...

I don't think you can file two 485. You need to move the new 485 to the old 140 , which I believe is possible based on what I have been reading on this portal. When someone changes job and file new 140, they are able to move th eprefiled 485 to new 140.

In ur. case u are moving to old 140. ...

However ur. case is complicated, better take a lawyer's advice so that you don't get into trouble later.

You can file second 485 - it is legal. But after you get one adjudicated, withdraw the second one.
