Hi guys ,

first of all i wish good luck to everybody entering the DV2012. i have been playing it for 10 years and i had no luck really :(while so many of my friends did.
last year i got married ,i applied this year but i didnt include my wife as my wife doesnt have a high school degree.if there anything wrong for me if i win this year.
i need your adive freinds, this dv means a lot to me .
wish me good luck this to be my year.

You should include your wife in your application and all your children and/or stepchildren plus adopted children if any. Your wife not having a high school degree doesn't mean that you can't include her in your application; all it means is that she cannot apply as a principal application i.e. it means that you can apply for yourself and put her as your dependent only. Unlike others whose wives have high school degrees, those can submit an application for the husband and for the wife (on each one putting the other as a dependent). Anyway, its not too late; once you find out that you've been selected, what you should do is download forms from a website that you'll be advised to visit and there you can put your wife as your dependent with her photo. When you go for your interview at the U. S. embassy when your time comes, you should go with all the documents to prove that validity of your marriage and explain to your interviewer why you did not put her in your initial applicaiton. I'm sure it'll all be ok! Good Luck!

Thank you dear shihabmh ,i do appreciate your answer to my concern. could you please tell me if this happened to anyone of the applicant or if you are sure the interviewer will understand the situation or the KCC when i return the documents after receiving the 1NL.
i have also an other thing,i have two babies twins which i havent included. if i win the dv could i proceed to the visa without mentioning my wife and kids .and will it be easier later while im settled in the us to take them with me evenif i havent included them while applying for the dv.
pleasr i need your answers folks and other guys experiences same as mine.

It has happened to one of my friends and after advising him the same way i advised you he did get the visas for all. Most importantly is to make sure that when you fill the forms after being selected, make sure that you include everything that you had not included in your original application. You can also make corrections for any mistakes that you had made eg. if you had put your date of birth incorrectly etc. It might seem the easiest solution if you say you just proceed on your own but it will be difficult to sponsor them and it will take a while for you to get them visas and having them join you.

See, what the Americans want is you to be honest with them and if you have all documents and wedding photos to prove the legitimacy of your marriage and the DNA proving your connection with your twins, then by all means it will be an easy way for you and your family.
