Hello,

I had my Bachelor of Pharmacy in JNTU, hyderabad in 2004. At preasent Iam in Texas. I would like to apply for fpgee exam.But according to nabp i should have 5yrs degree but I had my B.Pharm for 4yrs. How can I apply?

I got my employment authorization approved. Just want to know can I get job based on my degree? What are all the possibilities?

I need your suggestions and quick response will be highly appriciated.

I m also a B.pharma grad 2004from INdia presently in Texas.As far as I know ,we do not have a chance to write FPGEE and get licensure and work as communityu pharmacists here in US.
But I too would like to know if there s any way I can work as a Pharmacist here.

Hi Sheela:
As per best of my knowledge, the graduates of pharmacy after year 2003 shold have a five year degree (like in USA). So what you can do is find a good school of pharmacy which can give you credit of the things you already finished (e.g. all the cources of your B. Pharm) towards your PharmD in USA. Most of the univewrsities will give credits of whatever you have finished between 2 to 3 years. So you will be left with only 2 1/2 to 3 years of which the final year will be rotations (real world work/internship). So you can earn during final year.
For the list of universities, you have to check with individual universities.

Can any one guide me what are the options do I have to work here with the current degree as I have my employment authorization card.
