I have F1 visa and graduated in December 2007.Right now I am on my OPT till January 2009. Meanwhile, I got married with a guy who just got H1B but I didn’t switch my visa to H4 yet. Currently, I am working at a company. They don’t want to be sponsor for H1 for next April. At the end of January, I have to quit job and chance my visa status from F1 to H4. As I read on internet, with H4 visa I cannot either work or study, right? Now, I found an intern, should I encourage the company to get me J1 visa? What else I can do? In near future, my husbands' company might file green card but I know that it will take at least a year to get the card. Within this duration I don’t want to do nothing. Could you give me advice?
