I missed my fingerprint appointment

I missed my fingerprints appointment for naturalization. The notice date is 06/23/2008 and the date of the fingerprints 07/11/2008. I left the unites states on the 28th of June.

are they going to deny my application ??
what should I do ?
Will the process take longer ? I applied on January of 2007 and did my first fingerprints on February 2007.

Normally, on your notice there is a deadline date (i couldn't recall if it is like three weeks or so from original appt. date). In any case, just go to your local DO and take the finger prints ASAP. Depends on where you at, some of DOs are open on Saturday for finger prints.

I agree. Just take your letter to the fingerprint office and see if they can take you on a walk in basis. I know at my local office, they tend to do re-scheduled appointments on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. I did my fingerprinting on a walk in basis on a Saturday afternoon (same day as I got the letter) and it was no problem. Worst they can do is refuse you, in which case you can contact USCIS and ask them to re-schedule it. From what I have read on these forums, however, most FP centers are fairly reasonable about this.

Don't worry,everything will be fine.
I missed my FP apointment too,and I went there the next wensday.Today I just called 3046255590 to check the status of my fingerprints,the lady who answered the my phone was very nice and said they already sent back to USCIS the same day when I did the fingerprinting.
