After telling her my ND is in october 99.
She was Ok but here is what she said:

"There are 18 boxes for month of october 99 for FP to be done and it will take 30-60 days to complete. She didnot even ask my case # etc.." Is it how they respond to all you people.

I also called up IIO today(Thurs 11:30 AM EST) and he told me that my application is pending and I can expect FP in 30-60 days. I am depressed too just like you.

RD - Sep 20 1999, ND - Oct 1 1999 EB2 India(Current for a very long time)

coolj in isn.org chat board says that VSC recv\'d 6600 applications
in Oct\'99 (as per IIO at VSC he or she spoke to) and this 18 boxes statement from the IIO would support that I guess...and I think
VSC will take atleast 2-3 months to complete Oct\'99 applications...

I don\'t know how VSC intends to process these applications...as per
their statements before, they said they would issue an FP notice just
before adjudicating...does that mean that folks who are getting FP
notices now, would get their approval, say a week from their FP process completion?

All in all, it\'s very frustrating to say the least...folks who took
the CP approach have been the most fortunate I guess...

srini123, if I am right, september cases took around 2-2.5 months to complete. Since the number of september cases would be more than october cases(just a guess) will it not take less time to process october cases. May be the IIOs just exaggerating the issue or playing around. Don\'t know, just my thought.

Couple of weeks back when I called IIO(my ND is Nov 1st), she said that they are processing oct 15th, it is close and I should be getting it shortly.

Hi ranjan,

The reason why I thought it would take 2-3 months is b\'cos of the
FP\'s....my friend got an FP notice (yesterday...ND 10/3/99) from VSC, and he has to go for FP on March, 3rd!...and he was surprised that the FP date is so far away...so, assuming that they send FP notices
for folks whose is ND is Oct 15th, 1999 applications...

If they continue processing the application without waiting for the
FP to be done (as they said they would do) by way of sending RFE\'s etc., I think that would be a good sign...

I really wish I am wrong about the 2-3 month processing time for October applications...

No I did not persue it to the end. I realised She just doesnot want to tell the true story. I was expecting her to ask my RD and ND and look into system and tell me where i stand rather she just told me 18 boxes and 30-60 days . MAy be she was just trying to get rid of me..bla bla..

I am getting very good job offer and in my current company lot of problems are there. I am on bench and these people are not placing me but telling me to go on leave without pay for -2-3 month. what will happen if i go on leave and join the new company and let the green process go my ND 10/21/99. Help or similar experiences needed.
